In 1989 after blowing up and becoming a successful company John Paul Mitchell Systems experienced a huge loss with the death of Paul Mitchell at the age of 53 due to pancreatic cancer. Paul Mitchell left his part of the company to his son Angus Mitchell to continue to grow along side his partner John Paul Dejoria. As a company J0hn Paul Mitchell Systems has kept up with their values of "Style for good" and being a culture of giving, doing everything they can to give back and support as many causes as they can including pancreatic cancer action network.
